How to Play

Basics

Match sets of 3 identical open stones to remove them from the board.

Matches must be identical with the exception of flower and season tiles. Any flower stone can match with any flower stone & any season stone can match with any season stone.

A stone is considered open if either the left or right side does not have something next to it and no other stones are on top of it.

Open stones have a lighter & brighter color, while closed stones have a muted grayed out hue.

Open stones turn purplish blue when they are selected.

Clear each stage to move onto the next.

Levels

This is a 50-stage Triple Mahjong Solitaire game where you must clear the board of tiles before the timer runs out.

The first level gives you 2:05 to complete it. Other levels have different time limits which are adjusted to the difficulty of the board layout. Level time limits increase by 5 seconds for each level throughout the game.

Play Tips

Open tiles appear in a brighter color whereas tiles that are not open have a darker background color.

Widest Rows & Deepest Columns First

Each board has a unique configuration. It is best to remove tiles from the deepest and widest stacks whenever possible so that you quickly open up the board to enable other pair matches.

Scoring

Each set you match is worth 100 points.
Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 30 points.
Shuffling tiles costs 500 points.
Taking a hint costs 100 points.

Your game score is cumulative across levels, though it is not easy to go back to replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them unless you want to start the entire game over from the beginning.

Game Controls

The game controls are shown on the right side.

At the top there is a full screen mode button, then it shows your level number, cumulative game score, and remaining level time.

Below those data points are buttons to pause the game, take hints, shuffle tiles, control game sound, and control game music.

No Automated Shuffles

Many of our Mahjong Solitaire games automatically reshuffle tiles when no valid moves remain. This game, however, does not. When no moves exist and shuffling can not enable moves the level is beat. When no moves exist and shuffling can enable moves the hints button will not work & you manually have to use the shuffle button to shuffle tiles.
