Play Daily Nonograms Black & White Drawing Game Online for Free

This game is a black and white game. We also offer a colored nongram game.

Starting Your Game

Click on the grid size you want to play: 10x10, 15x15, or 20x20. Larger puzzles have more pieces and thus take longer to complete. The smallest puzzle is 100 squares, medium is 225 squares, and large is 400 squares.

Alternatively you can create a printable version of today's nonogram by clicking on the PRINT TODAY'S PUZZLE button.

The help button explains how nongram puzzles work.

In the lower right corner of the welcome screen there are buttons to erase gameplay data, share the game on social media, read developer info, or install the game on your device as a web app.

The game has a button for more games at the bottom and a language selector which is in the upper right corner.

How to Play

The aim of this game is to color the whole grid in to black and white squares.

Entering Your Data

This game has a built in error checker. Click on the "?" button to track your progress and see if you made any errors. It will tell you how many errors you have made, but will not tell you where the errors are.

When you have correctly painted all black cells without incorrectly painting any white cells black it will place a green circle over the puzzle with a white checkmark showing your puzzle completion time.

Process of Elemination

  1. As a rule of thumb, it is easiest to start in the columns or rows which have the most cells filled in black.
  2. If you are playing a puzzle which is 10 cells wide and you see a 6 2 you know that there are only 2 white cells in that puzzle & that their positions can only be cells 1, 7, 8, or 10.
  3. After painting most of the cells which you are certain are black (e.g. 2-6 & 9 in the above example) you can then use those certainties to look for numerical runs of black in the opposing direction.
  4. By repeating the process in a criss-crossing fashion you can quickly beat the puzzles using a game of logical deduction.

Game Features

Each day this game offers another level to play through. You can also refresh this page to play multiple puzzles from a single day by choosing to play various puzzle sizes. Alternatively, after completing a puzzle you can click on date to choose another date and play another puzzle of the same size from another day.

Your web browser automatically stores the amount of time and number of moves it took you to complete each puzzle.

The lower left side of the game offers buttons to pause the game, undo moves, error check your progress, control game music and sounds, or switch between full screen or embedded play modes.
