All your play data is stored in your web browser.
Click on the puzzle size you want to play. Larger puzzles are more complex and harder. You can choose to play a 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, or 8x8 grid.
Alternatively you can create a printable version of today's puzzle to play offline by clicking on the "Print today's Calcudoku" button.

In the lower right corner of the welcome screen there are buttons to reset gameplay data, share the game on social media, or read developer info.
The game has buttons for more games bottom center and a language selector which is in the lower left corner.
When you have completed the puzzle correctly it states Congratulations then puts a circle with a checkmark and your completion time over the puzzle.
Use the cursor keyso to quickly move through the cells. Backspace or delete to clear a cell. Using the on-screen numberpad (or keyboard numbers 1 to 9) you can enter the "candidates."
Selecting a number a second time changes the candidate to your final number.
If you are uncertain if you made any errors you can click on the "?" button to see how many errors appear in the puzzle. Note that error checking only counts your final numbers & not candidates.
Each day this game offers another level to play through.
Your web browser automatically stores the amount of time it took you to complete each puzzle.
You can click on date to choose another date and play another puzzle.
The lower left side of the game offers buttons to pause the game, undo moves, error check your progress, control game sounds, control game music, or switch between full screen or embedded play modes.
