Free Online Blind Freecell Solitaire Video Game

How to Play

The Deal

This is a timed single-deck Solitaire game where players have 30 minutes to move all cards from the tableau to the 4 suited foundations.

48 cards are dealt to the tableau across 8 columns of 6 cards each. The remaining 4 cards are dealt directly to the 4 free cells.

Face Down

In Freecell typically all cards are dealt face up, whereas in this game only the bottom card in each tableau column is face up, making the game far more difficult.

Moving Cards

Build down on the tabelau while alternating suit colors.

Build up on the foundations in ascending order starting with the aces.

Cards can move back and forth between tabelau columns, or the tableau & free cells, but you can not move cards from the foundations back into play.

You can only move one card at a time unless you have open free cells or open columns on the tableau. You can move more cards at once with open available spaces.

The game will automatically move most cards to the foundations when they can be played, however you may need to adjust stacks and manually move some cards if you get some foundations higher than others.

Strategy

Try to clear out the free cells as early as you can. Having free cells allows you to move longer runs of cards.

Empty Tabelau Columns

You can only move kings or runs of cards starting with a king to an open column on the tableau, so it makes sense to not create open columns unless you have a king to play there.

As you create longer runs on the foundations you can break longer stacks into shorter ones so that you can move them across to position them onto a king which does not have any face down cards burried underneath it.

Game Controls

The free cells are in the upper left & the 4 foundations are to the right.

The right rail of the game has 4 buttons at the top to control game sound, control game music, pause the game & switch to full screen play mode.

Underneath those 4 buttons is the game score and remaining play time.

Ath the bottom of the right column there are buttons to restart a new game or undo a move. You can undo up to 3 moves per game.

Scoring

Each card you remove from the tableau is worth 10 points, meaning your maximum card score is 520 points.

Your remaining time is also worth points, with each second being valued at 50 points.

The key to earning a high score in this game is to finish quickly.
